On the bottom floor of the event, there was a “fashion marketplace” featuring garment and accessory work from local designers as well as the five designers whose collections would walk in the show. After a quick browse, the FBA climbed the stairs to greet the entrance that lead to the runway.

The designers that were showcased included Allison Elizabeth Baily Swimwear, Vaughn Glover’s Xalter Zaughn, Zeina Lou Designs, Bradford Mumpower, and DebrAnn Weiss. Each designer brought forth a different style to the runway, some of which included experimental knits, retro-inspired swimwear, ethnic prints and silhouettes, and a few ensembles meant for a grand night out.
